I’m Hailey, but you can call me Hailz.

At just 16, I proudly wear the title of CEO at @lacedbyhailz, my very own crochet business. My journey began quite unexpectedly—a few YouTube videos ignited my passion for crochet and transformed it from a simple hobby into a thriving enterprise when I was just 15.

Growing up, I had a family member who was also into crocheting, which turned out to be an incredible blessing. With access to various supplies and expertise, I was able to refine my craft and experiment with different styles and techniques. This nurturing environment allowed me to develop a unique flair for crocheting.

In July 2023, I took a significant leap and started creating customized crochet clothing for clients. Balancing this burgeoning business with my studies at secondary school posed a challenge, but my entrepreneurial spirit drove me to find ways to manage both effectively. I viewed this endeavor as not only a way to express my creativity but also as an opportunity to fulfill my lifelong dream of being an entrepreneur.

The turning point for @lacedbyhailz came when a video showcasing my creations went viral on Instagram, racking up an incredible 827k views. This exposure catapulted my business forward, attracting clients from all walks of life. Each order and new connection fuels my enthusiasm, and I am excited to see where this journey takes me next.
